As Iris Murdock said, “people from a planet without flowers would think we must be mad with joy the whole time to have such things about us”.

When I am touched by a beautiful flower, I instantly feel the urge to recreate it in some way in a painting or with paper or fabric to make it into a wearable object that you can always have on you.

Magnolias, tulips, milk thistle, hydrangeas or imaginary flowers, sometimes with birds or insects playing on their petals, flowers will always be my main source of inspiration.
